Tracey L. Collins About the Author

Tracey L. Collins is an educator and author, whose life's work is supporting children and families across the globe. For almost two decades, she has served as a Teacher, Community School Coordinator, Assistant Principal and Principal in the New York City Public Schools. While caring for her mother, Tracey served as a Teacher and Principal in the New Orleans Public Schools. Currently, Tracey is a Senior Youth Development Director in the New York City Public Schools.

As an educator, Tracey believes in establishing relations of care and trust as a foundation for teaching and learning. To cultivate her purpose and cascade out her life's work, Tracey writes and publishes. In addition, she serves as the Chairperson of the Educational Task Force for NYS Senator Eric Adams, representing the 20th Senatorial District in Brooklyn, NY.
